ISO/IEC 17065 Accreditation

DrJ 17065 certificateDrJ has received ISO/IEC 17065 accreditation (see certificate), an international standard for ensuring the competence of organizations that perform product certifications.

ISO/IEC 17065 accreditation ensures that DrJ's product certifications are impartial, consistent with international standards, and based on objective testing and analysis. DrJ also complies with the requirements of IBC Section 1703.

To achieve ISO/IEC 17065 accreditation, DrJ maintains rigorous internal processes in drafting, finalizing and updating Technical Evaluation Reports (TERs), which assess test data, engineering analysis and the code compliance of a product, material, design or method of construction. In addition, DrJ undertakes a thorough annual review of all TERs to ensure new code language is incorporated, QC and QA procedures are maintained, notification of any changes in the product or manufacturing process have been reviewed, and any conflicts of interest and risks to impartiality have been mitigated.
